She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sommerville and Margaret Weisner Sommerville; her husband Frank Vitanza; her siblings, John Sommerville (Norma), Emma Soltish (Michael), Anna Lewis (Art) and Mary Sommerville; and her son-in-law Richard DiMaio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean (James Mignault) of Beacon, Renie (Bill DiNapoli) of Beacon, Maggie (Bob Palisi) of Beacon and Christine DiMaio (Bruce Duncan) of Cornwall; her grandchildren, James, Joshua Mignault, Amanda, Michael, Nicholas DiNapoli, Alyssa and Sara DiMaio; her great grandchildren, Carter, Jenna Leigh, Miles, Dillan, Jarred Mignault, Jaxson Pujia, Baby Olivia and Baby DiNapoli; and her sister-in-law Josephine Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
