James McNair Obituary
James Stewart McNair, 'Mac' of Wappingers Falls, NY., entered into rest on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1961 in Beacon, the son of Robert McNair Sr., and the late Gloria (Williamson) McNair. His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took him home to glory. Our hearts ache, but God has given him his wings to soar.
James was full of life and love, his heart always filled with joy. He was loved and adored by all who had the privileged of knowing him and will truly never be forgotten. He loved his family and friends dearly and seized every opportunity to bring everyone together in celebration. James is survived by his children Jaquan, Shykwame and his wife Qiana, Arjiron, and Kasha McNair; he is also survived by his father, Robert McNair Sr; his brothers, Robert McNair Jr. and his companion Harriet; Terrence and his wife Susan; Craig Curtis, and his sister, Gloria McNair.
James is also survived by his grandchildren: Zahlae, Amaaj, Zimier, Shyheim, Dionte, Jason and Shyanne; and also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces nephews & friends. Along with his mother Gloria McNair, he was predeceased by his brother Rodney McNair. The family would like to express a special thanks for the care given by Demetrius Turner & Derrick; and also to the nurses at Hudson Valley Hospice.
The family & friends will gather on Thursday, July 26th from 9-11am, at the Springfield Baptist Church, Maddie Cooper Sq., Beacon, where A Home-Going Service will be offered at 11am, followed by a private interment at the convenience of his family. Arrangements under the direction of the Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Ave., Beacon, NY.
