Irene Quintana Obituary

Irene 'Dali' Quintana, a longtime Beacon resident, passed away on January 18, 2022 at her home, at the age of 54 years old. She was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico on December 30, 1967, she was the daughter of Elba Caraballo and the late Hamilton Quintana Sr.. She attended Beacon City Schools, and graduated from Beacon High School, class of 1986. Affectionately known by her family & friends as Dali.

Dali enjoyed working on cars; she was a good mechanic, could fix anything. She was also very organized, and enjoyed helping others.

Along with her mother Elba, she is survived by her daughter Anissa Quintana and grandson John Isaac Acevedo Quintana. Dali is survived by her loving friend and close-companion Norma Cruz. She is also survived by her brother Hamilton Quintana and her 3 nieces.

Her. Family will receive Friends on Saturday, January 29th from 2-4pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a prayer service will be offered at 3PM. Interment will be private at the discretion of her family. Memorial Slideshow: Irene 'Dali' Quintana - Tribute Video.
