Hisako Hirose Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hisako Hirose of Beacon, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Hisako departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Hisako. Though Hisako may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Koji Shimazu and Chieko Shimazu; her brother Shunichi Shimazu; and her former husband Saneteru. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Satsuki and Rob Blumenstock (Arran) of West Caldwell, NJ; her sons-in-law, Yuki Hirose and Eric Brenner; her husband Terry; her child Manhattan; and also Samiko Hashimoto.
In lieu of flowers, Hisako's family respectfully suggests a donation be made in her memory to Doctors Without Borders, one of her favorite charities.
