He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott R. Monroe and Marjorie Butler; and his granddaughter Lacey Elisabeth Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Dross; his children, Heather Hulse (Steve) of Beacon, Holly Rivera (David) of Hyde Park and Richard Monroe of Beacon; his grandchildren, Anthony Monroe (Emily), Stevie, Tyler Hulse, Emma and David Rivera; his great grandchildren, Ariel and Joshua Monroe; his siblings-in-law, Bob Dross (Beverly) and Judy Brickner (Tom); his aunts, Peg Merandy and Mitzi LeFever; and his nieces and nephews, David Dross, Thomas, Jeff Brickner, Donald Varian, Karen Manari and Amy Varian. He is also survived by many other extended family & many-many friends.
The family asks for memorial donations to be made in Elliott's name to either: St. Jude Childrens Hospital, American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
