It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward A. Mowen Jr. (Beacon, New York), born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Mowen Sr. and Elsa Klem; his grandparent Klem; his siblings, Elizabeth McCarthy, Virginia Davis and Ted Mowen; his nephew Bobby Smith; and his grandson Mathew Mowen.
He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Polniaszek (Bob), Margaret Clarkin (Tom), Edward III Mowen (Theresa Chang), Gregory Mowen (Margaret Clum) and David Mowen (Catherine Kilkenny); his sisters, Mary Mulcahy and Francis Mowen; his grandchildren, Danielle, Derek, Joey, Christine, Ryan Clarkin, Zackary Chang Mowen, Danny, Christopher Mowen, Reily, Rory and Ryan Mowen; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Jax and Savana. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ed may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
