It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ryan (Beacon, New York), born in Swissvale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 20, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Bialko; and her sisters, Ellen D'Amato, Jesse Selkow and Sarah Fredericks. She is survived by: her parent Ellen Baacke Bialko; her spouse Henry "Hank" Ryan; her children, Katherine B. Ryan, Liz King (Chris), Larry Ryan (Kathleen), Jodi Ryan and Debbie LaPiana (Nick); her grandchildren, Ryan Sullivan, Nora Engelhard, Lauren Heeter, Janice Aungst, Kaitlin King, Maggie Dollard, Colleen Mayrand, Tim Ryan, Michaela Ryan, Giuseppe LaPiana, Carolina LaPiana, Domenica Swanton and Nick LaPiana; her great grandchildren, Jake Haley, Riley Smith, Brandon Smith, Orlando Pacheco, Cadence Heeter, Gauge Heeter and Benjamin LaPiana; and her sister Beatrice "Jo" Bialko. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
