He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Yerks and Bessie Yerks (Tomlins); and his sister Dolores Mazzacone. He is survived by: his close friend Maria C. Scolaro; his daughters, Tracy Way (Lawrence) of Beacon and Heather Yerks of Beacon; his grandchildren, Ravyn, Slater Way, Valentino and Leonardo Sardanopoli; his sisters, Audrey Henderson and Dorothy Smith; his niece Lisa Strong; and his pet Max.
