Though Linda has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her spouse Townsend W. Dear; her siblings-in-law, Elayne Gregory (Donald) and James (Cecily); and her pets, Bogie and Rhett. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home (26 Franklin Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reformed Church (115 Ryefield Rd, Locust Valley, NY 11560). A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Locust Valley Cemetery (117 Ryefield Rd, Locust Valley, NY 11560).
