He was predeceased by: his father Pasquale Alfarone; his wife Barbara Lazzaro Alfarone; his siblings, Catherine Melisurgo, John R. Alfarone, Pasquale Alfarone, Jr., Frank Alfarone and James C. Alfarone; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Kaelin Alfarone, Ralph J. Melisurgo, Vincent Siciliano, Richard Lazzaro and Frank Lazzaro; and his nieces, Donna Marie Alfarone Colasurdo and Maryann Alfarone.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Murphy (Robert) of New Hyde Park, Salvatore Alfarone of Hollywood, FL and Denise Alfarone of Bayside; his granddaughters, Lisa Murphy (Mark Tullio) and Christina Murphy; his sister Theresa Alfarone Siciliano; his sisters-in-law, Josephine Del Gais Alfarone and Valerie Castelluzzo Alfarone; and his nieces and nephews, Christane Sheehan (James), Cathy Faustini (Sam), Laura Esposito (Agostino), Lisa Calcaterra (Peter), John Alfarone, Jr. (Kim), Teresa Zinser (Bobby), Tina Price (Jerry), Patrick Alfarone (Michel), Valeriann Hughes, Frank Colasurdo, Pasquale Alfarone III (Christine) and Charles Alfarone (Iraida). He is also survived by 26 grandnieces and grandnephews, and 4 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
