“How sad our whole family is to hear about Mike’s death. Since we came to Bayside 30 years ago Mike has been a fixture in all our lives. As our own children were growing up Mike never forgot where and what they were at, asking kindly about them and showing great interest when he spoke with any of us. Brian and Colm called him a great character and gentleman and Karen just loved him. He will be sadly missed but often talked about and remembered with pleasure. Rest In Peace Mike. Higgins family”
