He was predeceased by: his son Craig Scharfschwerdt; and his siblings, Patricia Behrendt and Brian Geoghan. He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Keith Scharf (Gioia) of Sayville, Kerry Blanchard (Craig) of Farmingville and Jamie Bryan of Bayport; his grandchildren, Abigal, Colette, Amelia and Caleb; and his siblings, Mary Lou Honce, Kathy Remmer, Peter, Michael, John and Christopher Geoghan.
