She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Harenberg of Holthausen's Department Store; her daughter-in-law Theresa; and her brother Peter McArthur. She is survived by: her children, Paul, Peter of Coram, David (Denise) of Bayport and Jennifer (Jack Bolger) of Sayville; her grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, Alexandra, Peter and Evan; and her sister Phylis Berger of East Hampton.
The COVID-19 crisis brought her tenure there to an end.
