In loving memory of Kevin G. Canavan of Bayport, New York, born in Scarsdale, New York, who departed this world on June 30, 2024 at the age of 64. As we bid Kevin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kevin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Marie and Frank. He is survived by : his wife Dianne; his children, Mike Porcelli (Jade) of Greenwich and Heather Canavan of Bayport; and his brothers, Sean, Michael (Kathleen), Brian (Fior) and Daniel (Jamie).

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Homes (683 Montauk Hwy, Bayport, NY 11705). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Snow RC Church (175 Blue Point Ave, Blue Point, NY 11715). A burial was held on Monday, July 8th 2024 at the St. Ann's Cemetery (251 Middle Rd, Sayville, NY 11782).
