We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2020, at the age of 96, James J. Mariconda of Bayport, New York, born in Southington, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Mariconda and Tommasina Mariconda (Rugerio); and his sisters, Julia DeMayo, Mary Mariconda, Fanny Janazzo, Palmina Manfred and Louise Mariconda.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mariconda (Argondizza); his children, Anne Marie Mariconda of Bayport, NY and David Mariconda of Tappan, NY; and his nephews, Ernest Manfred of Mystic, CT and Thomas Manfred of Coram, NY..
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, 10:30 am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Southington, masks are required along with social distancing.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southbury Training School, 1461 S. Britain Rd, Southbury, CT 06488.
