With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia R. Dunton (Bayport, New York), who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Roth and Theresa Roth; her children, Donna and William; her grandchildren, Johnny, William, Kristin and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Emerson, Preston, London and Madison; and her spouse Emerson Dunton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home (683 Montauk Hwy, Bayport, NY 11705). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Our Bayport Funeral Home (683 Montauk Hwy, Bayport, NY 11705).

Carol Ditchik wrote a sympathy message

“I offer my sympathy for the loss of your mother. She was a marvelous art teacher when I knew her at Northside and a good friend throughout our retirement. We started out as a 5 person museum group once a month, going to the city and other destinations, and then morphed into a 3 person luncheon every so often. I am truly sorry for your family's grief at this time, and want you to know that she was much loved as a teacher and friend to many of us. My condolences to you all. Carol Ditchik”
