She was predeceased by: her father John Cody; her grandparents, Mathew, Helen Cody, Roy and Beryl Mallows; and her uncle Mathew Cody.
She is survived by: her mother Linda Reich (Bart); her significant other Julien Valenstein; her siblings, Michelle Cody Hartman (Don), Debra Morton (Brent) and John Cody (Meaghan); her stepmother Eva; her nieces and nephews, Hunter, Shane, Haley Morton, Emma and Harper Cody; and her aunts, Eileen Paulson (Harold), Vanda Broadbridge (Edward) of Luton and England.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home (683 Montauk Hwy, Bayport, NY 11705). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (31 Rider Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cheryl's memory to Good Shepherd Hospice or Rawhide Rescue of NJ.
