He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Blandeburgo and Crucificia Blandeburgo. He is survived by: his wife Anita Lucy Santangelo; his children, Alex Jr. (Melinda), Peter and Linda Kerensky (William); his grandchildren, Peter (Christie), Sarah, Adam (Nicole), Matthew (Baylie), Michael, Leah, Abigail and Susan Bittner (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Carter, Edwin and Domminic; and his sister Delores Marchand.

He left a void in the hearts of everyone that knew him, especially, Anita , Delores, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Susan and I remember fondly the times we spent together in Lindenhurst with the Falco family, and those pinochle games that lasted till the early hours of the morning.
