We bid farewell to Margaret Mahoney of Bay Shore, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her sister Marie Patalkis. She is survived by: her children, Bob, John, Nora and Sheila; her grandchildren, Shannon (Ian Eccleston), Colin Mahoney, Cara and Jack Jewels; her daughters-in-law, Kim McCann and Doreen Moran; and her sisters, Pat Mirr and Anne Del Gaudio.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (172 Main St a, Islip, NY 11751). The inurnment will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery.
