It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Swanson of Bay Shore, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Swanson and Agda Swanson; his wife Dorothy Stillman of St. Johnsbury, VT; his sister Marion; his nieces, Deborah (Dale Costner) of North Carolina, Marcia (Jerry Thibeault) of Saco and Sharon (George Turnbull) of Bath; and his nephew Eric (Kimberley Swanson) of Scarborough. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and eight and a half great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the Phippsburg Congregational Church.
