He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Martin and Anna Rita; his brother John; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas F. X. Mullarkey and Doreen O'Hara (Jack).
He is survived by: his spouse Auleen; his children, Brian, Edward "Terry", Jr. (Kerry), Auleen Shelley (Kent), Megan and Matthew (Jane); his grandchildren, Abigail, Auleen Anne, Terrence III, Patrick, George, Owen, Brian, Maille, Moira, Luke, Nora, Benjamin and Alexandra; his siblings, Elizabeth McCarthy (late Edmund), Kevin (Patricia), Alice Shanahan (James), Joseph (Loretta), Catherine, Mary Rita Murray (late Vincent), Peter (Mariann), Margaret Mary Griffin (Bernard), William (Sheila) and Aileen Panten (Eric); and his sisters-in-law, Noreen Gardner and Theresa Mullarkey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's R. C. Church (9 N Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706).
