She is survived by: her parents, Leonard Jaworowski and Helen Jaworowski; her significant other Thomas Shields; her husband Tom; her sons, Thomas and Joseph; her grandchildren, Padraic, Peter, Christopher, Isabella and Madison; her sisters, Kathy and Franny; and her sisters-in-law, Corinne and Mary K. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting those able and willing to consider a donation to the "Honor a Nurse Campaign", with the American Nursing Association in Barbara's name.
