He was predeceased by: his father Rodrick McConnell; his stepmother Yvonne McConnell; his brother Michael McConnell; and his stepdaughter Tish Mullin. He is survived by: his wife Cindy McConnell; his sons, Matthew McConnell (Tara) and Christopher McConnell (Carly); his mother Vera Robbins; his stepson Jason Parker (Nicki); and his sisters, Patricia Comstock, Jackie Hennigan (Robert), Toni Campbell, Mickey Cavanaugh (Adam), Collen Gleason (Kurt) and Bambi Caron (Jim).
The family will provide their own flowers and those wishing may remember Matt through a memorial donation to the Hammondsport Fire Department, Bath Fire Department & Bath Ambulance.
