He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Kennedy and Ellen J. Kennedy (McCormick); his daughter Mary Lou Kennedy; his siblings, Phyllis Peek, Thelma Peek and Joseph Kennedy; and his daughter-in-law Shelly Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kennedy (Walters); his children, Thomas Kennedy, Patricia Forenz (Dominick), Rebecca Heusler (Samuel), Teresa Gleason (Jack) of Penn Yan, NY and Tammy Perkins (John) of Hammondsport, NY; and his siblings, Josephine Thompson of Rushville, NY, Grace Coombs of Rochester, NY and David Kennedy (Ruth) of Pulteney, NY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
