He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Dye and Margariete Dye (Elster); his wife Mildred "Millie" Mehlenbacher; his sons, Joseph Dye and Michael Dye; his grandchildren, Shelby Lynn and Nicholas David Dye; and his brother Milton Dye.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Dye of Bath, Judy McGlynn (Guy) of Bath and Sue VanGelder (Joseph) of Bath; and his sisters, Lois York of Canisteo, Norma Conz of Elmira, Irene Sick (Karl) of York and Margaret "Peggy" Bjourm of Virginia Beach, VA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
