He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hosmer and Lucille Hosmer-Franklin (Brewer); and his siblings, Gladys Hammack, Lloyd, Donald and Edward Hosmer.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald R. Hosmer, Jr. of Painted Post, NY, Michael Hosmer of Rushville and Darlene Hosmer of Oklahoma; his grandsons, Jacob and Tyler Hosmer; and his siblings, Betty Sherwood (Robert) of Campbell, NY, Bernard Hosmer of Woodhall, NY and Steven Hosmer (Carol) of Antioch, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
