She was predeceased by: her father Richard James Emerson (Edward Diesel); her sister Barbara Sutton (David); her nephew Timothy Sutton; and her grandfather Harold. She is survived by: her husband Edward John Diesel Jr.; her mother Mary Emerson (Coon) of Bath; her daughters, Jill Marie Terrill (Damin) of Hammondsport, Kristin Michelle Diesel of Chattanooga, Mary Elizabeth Diesel of Seneca Falls and Shauna Swenson (Jeffrey) of Meridian; and her brother David Emerson (Cathy) of Delmar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hammondsport Ambulance or Bath Centenary Methodist Church in her memory.
