Charles D. Parker, Jr. age 77 of Bath, NY passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 30, 1945 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Charles, Sr. and Maude (Goltry) Parker. Charlie married Beverley (Bulkley) Strawway on May 10, 1969. He worked as a glass mechanic for Corning, Inc. for 34 years before his retirement.
Charlie will be remembered for his love of NASCAR and going to Allegheny and Tioga Downs Casinos. His family will remember him for his favorite statements: "It's a beautiful thing", "Stop your nonsense", "Damnit B" and "How the hell are ya?".
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Beverley Parker of Bath, NY; children: Christine (Jody DeWitt) Champion, Mary (Joseph) Madden, Brenda (Greg) Hafer, John (Linda) Strawway, Jr., Tammy (Jay) Rotz and Charlene (Donnell Jones) Rose; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Gerald and Billy Parker; six sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlie is also survived by numerous foster family members and their families.
In addition to his biological parents, Charlie was predeceased by his foster parents.
