He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Caton and Pauline Fleming Caton; and his sister Martha Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Laraine Pomeroy Caton of Batavia; his children, Edward J. Caton (Paula) of LeRoy and Ellen M. Caton of Batavia; his grandchildren, Carson Caton, Bailey Caton and Carly Brokaw; his sisters, Linda Slagle (Jack) of Arizona and Nancy Smith (Paul) of Wayland; and his siblings-in-law, Diane P Wormsley (William) of Pittsburgh, John Blackwell and Dale Soos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
