It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Valvo Sr. (Batavia, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Valvo and Petrina Valvo (Borzilleri); his brother Michael Valvo; his brother-in-law Richard Manuel; his grandson Sarantis Tsirtsakis; his wife Elaine Valvo (Giambrone); his children, Sally Dorigo (Michael) of Batavia, Robert J. "Bob" Valvo, Jr. (Sherry) of Batavia, Susan Kelly (James) of Connecticut and Michelle Schlossel (Scott Mase) of Batavia; his grandchildren, Sarah Tsirtsakis, Jennifer Parisi (Nicholas), Samantha Valvo, Courtney Baker (Joey), Joseph Schlossel, Morgan Schlossel (Nicholas Napierski) and Caitlin Kelly; his great grandchildren, Nikolaos, Alexandros, Kaliope, Kalomira Tsirtsakis, Gianna, Aria Parisi, Amelia and Paxten Baker; and his sister Sally Manuel of California. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the on-going Covid-19 Epidemic the Valvo family will privately Celebrate Bob's Mass of Christian Burial and entombment in the Rev. T. Bernard Kelly Mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ascension Parish, 19 Sumner St., Batavia, NY 14020 in Robert's honor.
