He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie McGiveron and Luella McGiveron (Meiser); and his sister Sharon Brenkus. He is survived by: his wife Joann McGiveron (Thornley) of Batavia; his sons, Richard T. McGiveron (Lynn) of Akron, Jeffrey McGiveron (Maryann) of Basom and Gregory McGiveron (Lynette) of Basom; his grandchildren, Jamie Wasielewski (Steven), Danielle Dosch (Timothy), Daniel, Andrew, Shawn, Morgan and Taylor McGiveron; and his cousin Lois Brockway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
