She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Kirkpatrick and Murial Chapell (Jenkins); her husband Oscar Kessler; her son James H. "Baby Huey" Kessler; her stepfather Erwin Chapell; her siblings, Roger Kirkpatrick, Nancy Dersam, Jeanette Moore (Richard), Linda and Judy Chapell; and her brother-in-law Dayton Schultz.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristian Kessler (Sandra) of Batavia and Katy Carloni (Jeff) of Clarence; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden and Bronsen; her sister Carolyn Chapell Schultz of Batavia; and her sister-in-law Carol Kirkpatrick of Rochester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
