He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Fairbanks and Matilda Fairbanks (Coffey); his wife Elaine Fairbanks (Stevens); his grandson Eric Fairbanks; his siblings-in-law, George Stevens and Helen Powers (late William); and his pet Bozo.
He is survived by: his children, Lowell T. Fairbanks (Linda) of Texas, Lester Fairbanks (Judy Fairbanks Sanders) of Batavia, Steven Fairbanks (Daphne) of Batavia, Cheryl Yasses (Mark) of East Bethany and Lori Beherns-Fairbanks of Batavia; his siblings, Norman Fairbanks (Sharon) of Byron and Carol LoVerdi (Carmelo) of Byron; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Stevens (Gloria), William Stevens (Sue), Missy Blackmon and Norma Stevens. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
