She is survived by: her fiancé Derek Thomas of Leroy, NY; her parents, Nathaniel Dawson of Leroy, NY and Janet Dawson of Batavia, NY; and her siblings, Daniel Dawson of Tonawanda, NY, Jessica Polk of Buffalo, NY, Peggy Polk and Quella Polk of Batavia, NY. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and very close family friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grand View Cemetery (80 Clinton St, Batavia, NY 14020).
