Lawrence J. Tassone Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence J. Tassone of Batavia, New York, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tassone and Josephine Tassone (Nicosia); his wife Theresa Teti; his sisters, Rachel March and Mary Campobello (Mim); his nephew James Campobello; his nieces, Frances March and Maryanne Semmens; and his siblings-in-law, Liberata Zaremski (Libby), Mary Gyr, Giselle Teti, Anthony Zaremski, Samuel Campobello, Vincent March, Walter Gyr and Louis Teti.
He is survived by: his children, Jo Marie (Jo Marie) and James Tassone (Patti) of New Berlin, Wisconsin.; his grandsons, Jonathan Tassone (Holly) of West Allis and Jason Tassone (Melissa) of New Berlin Wisconsin; and his great grandchild Briella Marie Tassone of New Berlin Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, four great-great nieces, and a great-great nephew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Resurrection Parish (303 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Notre Dame High School Foundation, 73 Union Street, Batavia, NY 14020, or a charity, foundation or organization of your choice.
