She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Bortle and Shirley Bortle (Mosher). She is survived by: her significant other Clarence Lathan; her children, Ron Lathan (Tammy) of Silver Lake, Kathy Lathan of Virginia, Stan Mosher (Lisa) of LeRoy, Colleen Miller (Tim) of Fillmore, Karen Perry (Jim) of Corfu and Carolyn Surani (Joe) of Florida; and her siblings, Oliver Wayne Bortle Jr. of Rochester, Pamela Evans (Bob) of Florida, Cindy May Rusten (late Todd) of Florida, Jerry Bortle (Hafdis) of Florida and Carol Jimerson (Thomas Craft) of Florida. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
