We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2023, at the age of 100, Helen W. Laird of Batavia, New York, born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wargo and Helen Stigura Wargo; her son Richard F. Laird; and her husband Vernon D. Laird. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia A. Eaton and Nancy E. Curtis; her siblings, Mary, Charles, Anna, George, Andrew and Johnny; her children, Larry Laird (Ellen) of Lancaster, NY and Susan Zilenski (Terry) of Oakfield, NY.; and her grandchildren, Kathleen Bender (Todd), Bradley Rodon (Michele), Tersa Lane (Dan), Kelly Kabel, Melissa Pendleton (Rick) and David Zilenski. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in her name may be offered to a charity of the donors preference.
