It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M. Johnson (Batavia, New York), born in Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hopkins and Elsie Hopkins (Sweet); and her husband Donald R. Johnson. She is survived by: her children, William Johnson (Chris) of Skaneateles, Katherine Lewin (Lance) of Carolina Shores, NC, Ellen Audet (Mark) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Susan Marinaccio (Joe) of Perry, Peter Johnson (Leslie) of Oradell, NJ and Mark Johnson (Brenda) of LeRoy; her sister Frances Arthur (late Pat) of Slingerlands, NY.; her grandson Tucker Knight; and her sisters, Carolyn Malaney (late Thomas), Jean Hopkins and Barbara Francisco (late Bruce). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 and a half great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
