With solemn reverence, we commemorate Helen B. Batchellor (Batavia, New York), whose life came to an end on February 8, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baker and Margaret Coughlin Baker; her husband Donald Batchellor; and her brother John C Baker. She is survived by: her children, Gary Batchellor of Batavia, Donna Croft (Dave) of Butler, PA. and Gale Mondragon (Jorge) of Honduras. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ascension Parish (15 Sumner St, Batavia, NY 14020). She was a member of the American Cancer Society, Genesee County Fish and Game Association, and an original volunteer of Genesee County's RSVP program.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 Saturday, February 22 at Ascension Parish Church, 19 Sumner St. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Holland Land Office and Museum or to Genessee Country Village and Museum.
