He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boyer and Betty Sablotny Boyer; his wife Elma; and his siblings, William Boyer Jr., Robert Boyer and Helen Girods.
He is survived by: his daughter Janie; his son-in-law Bill Messinger of Batavia; his grandchildren, Jeanine Messinger of Niagara Falls and Kyle Messinger (Mary Kay) of Darien Center; his nieces, Judy Milhollen, Cyrene Winkler and Valerie Mitchell; and his friends, Patricia Passage, Clayton and Diane Fry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home (2 Bogue Ave, Batavia, NY 14020). The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
