She was predeceased by: her parents, Anson Forsyth and Florence Forsyth (Ferguson); her husband Charles Rice; and her siblings, Rodney Forsyth, James Forsyth, Virginia Shera, Celia Maykuth and Joan White.

She is survived by: her brother George Forsyth of Batavia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakfield United Methodist Church, 2 South Main Street, Oakfield, NY 14125.
