She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Winters and Evelyn Winters (Mietz) of Middleport, NY.; her husband James Patrick Tibbs Jr.; her daughter Mary "Dietze" Rowcliffe; her grandson James Royal; and her son-in-law Robert Dempsey.

She is survived by: her siblings, Arthur Winters (Jean), Raymond Winters, Norman Winters (Connie), John Winters, Margaret Ryan (Jack), Charlotte Stein and Darvin Winters (Dorothy) of Gasport; her children, Margaret Dempsey (late Robert) of Stafford, Jim Tibbs (Kim) of Texas, Rich Tibbs (Cathy) of Batavia, Besty Royal (Mike) of Maryland and Tom Tibbs (Lisa) of Middleport; her son-in-law Garth Rowcliffe (late Dietze) of Elba; and her grandchildren, Robert Dempsey (Mandy), Heidi Dempsey, Ryan Dempsey (Sam), Megan Brown (Andrew), Alexandra Harrington (Adam), Ryleigh Hinkson (Garth), Sarah Tibbs, Thomas Tibbs, James Tibbs, Nick Tibbs (Sarah), Kaitlyn Adcock (Connor) and Joseph Royal.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to Wilmot Cancer Center and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
