He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Swanson and Wilhelmina Schmidt Swanson. He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Ahalt of Depew, Dorothy Shanks (Cortland) of South Carolina and Maxine Toot of North Carolina; his nephew William Ahalt; and his niece Pamela Park. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
