He is survived by: his wife Judi Hopkins Best of Batavia; his children, David Best (Debra) of Attica and Sheila Best of Batavia; his grandchildren, Craig, Trever, Richard, Kyle, Juan, Cristiana, Esperanza, Santiago and Anthony; his great grandchildren, Avery, Austin, Juan Jr., Nyeli and Oakley; his brothers, David Best (Denise) of Tennessee, Robert Best (Martha) of California and Patrick Best (Darlene) of Attica; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Hopkins (Lynne) of Attica, Doris Warner (late John) of Belfast, Donna Zevola (Jim) of Lake Peekskill, NY, Diane Hendel (late Paul) of Attica and Joan Kulczyk (Paul) of Batavia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home (2 Bogue Ave, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
