He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Koert and Ruth Koert (Keidel); and his siblings, Russell Koert, Sylvia Cecere, Nancy Ameigh and Kathy Trader.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Koert (Toye); his daughters, Joanne Koert, Pamela Costa (Sal) and Renay Stone (Gregg); his grandchildren, Jasmine Billman (Chris), Andrew (Brandi), Ethan and Tia Stone; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Annabella Billman, Kaydence Denea and Scarlett Stone. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
