He was predeceased by: his parents, Burdett Galton and Lillian Hare Galton; and his siblings, Gloria McKenzie, Charlotte Galton and Eric Galton.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Galton Jr. (Kim) of Caledonia and Vanessa Dempsey (William) of Stafford; his grandsons, Cody Galton, Michael Galton and Owen Galton; his former wife Mary Fay of Batavia; and his sisters, Darlene Gray of Warsaw and Julie Lawson (John) of Pembroke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
