He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubena Ground (Logan) and Wilfred Sr. Ground; his wife Beatrice Ground; and his siblings, Maxine Parker, Dorothea "Snookie" Sundown, Janice Hallett, Brenda Sundown, Ricky Ground, Vicki Standsblack and Freddie "Juggie" Ground.
He is survived by: his children, Yostah Vance, Wah-A-Gah Ground, Willie Ground and Scarlett Ground; and his siblings, Janet Hill (Darwin), Charlene Sundown (Alden), Annette Tahamont, Mardell Sundown, Rhonda Harjo (Thomas), Randy Ground and Tina Ground. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
