Sundown of Basom, New York, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Sundown and Rubena Sundown; and her siblings, Maxine Parker, Dorothea "Snookie" Sundown, Janice Hallett, Brenda Sundown, Ricky Ground, Vicki Standsblack, Wilfred Ground, Jr. and Tina Ground.
She is survived by: her spouse Alden Thompson; her children, Leigh and Dawn Thompson; her grandchildren, Ryan, Brody, Jesse, Lileigh and Coyee; and her siblings, Janette Hill (Darwin), Annette Tahamont, Mardell Sundown, Rhonda Harjo (Thomas) and Randy Ground. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 665 Bloomingdale Rd, Basom, NY 14013. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
