He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert C. LaPlante and Marion Royce LaPlante. He is survived by: his wife Gloria LaPlante (Sherwood); his children, James LaPlante (Sheila), Julie Lakin (Joe) and Brian LaPlante (Meg); his grandchildren, Jamie LaPlante (Joe Osman), Laura Rooney (Glenn), Kaitlin MacWhinnie (Brandon), Carrie Waite (Corey), Gage LaPlante, Griff LaPlante and Rachel Ashcraft (Ryan Frisbee); and his great grandchildren, Genevieve, Evelyn, Ronald Allen, Blake, Margaret, Hudson, Hunter, Rosalie Marion, Gracie, Nathan, Riley, Alana, Allison and Jordynn.
