He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Collins and Edna Collins; and his son Alan Collins. He is survived by: his wife Valeria Collins (Marosa); his children, Michael Collins, Frederick Collins (Christine) and Patricia Brown (Chad); his stepchildren, Laszlo Matos, Jr. and Erica Struble (Mike); his siblings, Kenneth Collins and Joan Kroboth; and his grandchildren, Amy Rafferty (Joe), Jason Collins, Natalie Coleman (David), Megan Pyhtila (Jeremy), Jessica Moore (Steve), Seth Collins (Lauren), Sadie Collins, Ryan Collins (Sarah), Erin Harner (Dondi), Chloe Collins (Matt Wieckhorst), David, Sean Matos, Champayne Savage III (Richard) and Levi Struble. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
